This year our new print is the Triathlon, a painting Hal Jones has done incorporating all three sports: Swimming, Cycling and Running.

As you can see, he again managed to create a fantastic scene.

SEDMAHA International Minor Hockey Tournament

What a great tournament with such fantastic plays!!!

Hal Jones' Hockey Prints and Originals will be on display this weekend at the Halifax Seaport Farmers Market. One of the Prints "Hockey"available has been completely sold out for over a year, I was able to get 3 prints for this weekend and they will be for sale.

The Print "The Rivalry" is almost sold out, what a great piece. And my favoured "The Breakaway" is still available.

I hope to see you at the Market 7am-4pm on Saturday and 8am-4pm on Sunday.

Bob Boucher Hockey

Last Night, we were at the Bob Boucher Hockey Assistant Fund, Fundraiser at the Forum in Halifax.
What a fun time. There was a large crowd and after, the hockey game between St. Mary's and  Dal was very exciting.
Hal donated this fantastic painting of "The Rivalry".

Strathcona Cup 2013

Welcome to all the curlers, competing for the 2013 Strathcona Cup starting tomorrow.
I just read up on it on their websites, www.strathconacup100.ca/ , what a fun competition.
110 years ago, the Scots travelled to Canada to curl for almost 2 month, from Halifax through Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa, Toronto and Winnipeg.
They had such a great time that they invited the Canadians to play in Scotland. Born was the Strathcona Cup. They meet every 5 years alternately in Canada and Scotland.

A New year 2013

Hello every one,

It is great to slide into the new year and enjoy a bit of cool weather.
Christmas snuck up on us this year with the warm temperatures, or maybe we are just getting older and time goes by quicker.
The first few weeks of the year I will only be at the Halifax Seaport Framers Market on Saturdays, but I look forward to seeing you then.

Things are quieting down some what, but Hal Jones is still working hard.
Here are a couple of his newer paintings we have produced as a limited edition Print

Curling - Women, by Hal Jones

Sunset Regatta is a lovely print, making us think of the warmer season, or the trip to southern destinations some of us my take. With the full background it creates a wonderful moody scene.

The Curling - Women was a must. As a companion the the original Curling (Men) from the Canada Games, this one is just as popular and fantastic. Hal has such a way of creating a sense of fun, with the hats and a sense of reality, as all his sports images are true to the sport.

As before, the limited edition prints are issued out of only 99 (only 99 are printed), signed and numbered, 8"x10" image size and  available, matted or framed.

I will try to keep up with all he is doing and let you know.
