Exciting News

Good Morning Halifax,
An other rainy day, but I am so excited, the news is out!!!
Hal Jones has again managed to outdo himself.
In the next couple of weeks, the famous fund raising Cookbook "Flavours to Savour" produced by the IWK Auxiliary will be coming out and Hal did all the illustrations for it.
There is a total of 8 paintings he produced and they are fabulous!
Jan Napier wrote a lovely article in the Southender and Bedford News, so the cat is out of the bag and I can tell you about it..
Here is a taste of the art, of course there is a ton of fabulous recipe in the cookbook as well from all different people.

This is the Cover

The first 1000 copies (first edition) will be numbered and signed by Hal Jones and at the annual Kermesse Fun Fair, Art Gallery opening reception, May 26TH, from 7-9 p.m.at the Public Archives of Nova Scotia, he will sign and dedicate the books to you. A great event and a great Cause.

This week I will be at the Halifax Seaport Market Saturday and Sunday as usual, but also on Thursday, what we call Cuise Ship Day, as there is again the Cuise Ship Maasdam from Holland America Line at Pier 22. I hope the weather improofs a bit.
See you there
Silvia
